Hongyu Chen
Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at UC Irvine. I work on compilers, binary translation, and systems infrastructure.
My work sits at the intersection of compilers, systems programming, and low-level software infrastructure. I've interned at Google working on LLVM's linker (LLD) and at Vector 35 building decompiler infrastructure for Binary Ninja.
I enjoy the challenge of understanding how software works at its lowest levels — from instruction sets and register allocation to compiler optimizations and binary analysis.
